PLEASE REVIEW:  REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP

*Baby's Breath is a neonatal care workshop that also meets the AAP's requirements for Part 2 (the Instructor-Led Event) of your NRP Provider Training.  Please refer to this link:  Steps to Obtaining NRP Provider Training (NRP Card) for more information about the necessary steps to completing AAP requirements.  PART 1 SHOULD BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE WORKSHOP.  AAP charges $35 for their course content and that is in addition to fees for the Baby's Breath Workshop.

WORKSHOP MODIFICATIONS DUE TO COVID-19: The Instructor-Led Event has been shortened to 4 hours.  The didactic portion of the Baby's Breath workshop (normally provided during the Instructor-Led event) will now be provided online and available on August 1st for completion.  If this is your first time taking this workshop and/or you would like to obtain CE for this portion of the training, please plan to review the Baby's Breath Online course content - as well as the AAP online content - prior to attending the workshop.  A post-test will be given at the end of the workshop to those seeking CE - as required by the CA Board of RN.  5 Contact Hours from the CA Board of RN are provided for both Part 1 and Part 2 of the Baby's Breath Workshop.

  • Baby's Breath Online Course

    The didactic component for Holistic Neonatal Transition & Midwifery-Led NRP in the community setting. Theory for skills unique to the birth center or home setting is presented in this course prior to practice in the Instructor-Led workshop. 3 Contact Hours (CEU) are provided for this course ~ 5 total to participants that complete both the online course and Instructor-Led event. ****This course is required for those taking the Baby's Breath workshop for the first-time.
