PRACTITIONERS SEEKING PRESCRIPTIONS FOR THEIR CLIENTS:

The process is simple and easy for both you and your clients!

1st option: Tell your client to go to Simply Scripts and schedule an appointment. A short 15 minute virtual visit will be completed between your client and Midwife Michele. After the appointment, if a prescription is needed, it will be sent to your client’s pharmacy of choice through an online service and ready in 1-2 hours (pharmacy hours permitting). Michele will prescribe any suitable medication online with the exception of CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES.

No chart notes, referrals, or additional communication with Michele is needed. She will see your client just like a virtual Urgent Care Center.

2nd option: If you prefer or require more communication, you can write an email or fax to Michele describing the client's case, lab values, or your preferred treatment. After the treatment plan is discussed between providers, then you can refer your client to Simply Scripts for an appointment.

** Your client will have access to a note with Lavender Moon to download and attach to her chart with your practice, should you request that she provide it. Michele will also provide a Superbill for your client to seek insurance reimbursement for the visit, should your client request it.

CLIENTS SEEKING A PRESCRIPTION WITHOUT A PRACTITIONER:

If you are not pregnant and/or you do not have a relationship with a practitioner who can prescribe medication to treat your urgent condition, Michele will see you virtually (and bill Tricare (use code MILITARY when you book your appointment - or provide a Superbill for other insurers to reimburse all or part of your visit fee). If your visit requires more diagnostic testing, labs may be ordered for you to complete at a draw station near you. Below are some of the common conditions Michele can treat either in a virtual or same day visit:
