Irvine, CA Baby's Breath (Renewal Only) Workshop

Registration Information - **Please review the Workshop Schedule closely before planning your training. This is a renewal only workshop designed for those that have previously taken a Baby's Breath workshop, are confident in their individual skill level,  and are renewing their NRP Provider training or auditing to practice skills.  If you choose to attend, please understand that there will be very little hands-on individual skill training or review in this workshop.  Individual skill training is limited to the Full Workshop formats (8 hours) provided on December 8th and 15th in San Diego. 

Audits - If you hold a current NRP card from a Baby's Breath training and would like to practice your skills (don't need renewal), you may register to audit the course at no cost.  *Host Birth Center Staff may attend the session to practice the team scenarios together - in the audit category - whether they have taken the workshop previously or not.   However, online registration in the Audit category is required prior to workshop attendance.

REQUIREMENTS TO COMPLETE PRIOR TO THE WORKSHOP if you are pursuing AAP NRP Provider Training:

*Baby's Breath is a midwifery model neonatal care workshop for the community setting that also meets the requirements for Part 2 (the Instructor-Led Event) of the hospital based AAP NRP Provider Training.  You may take the workshop without obtaining the AAP NRP training or for both.  If you are taking the workshop to also obtain the AAP NRP training, please refer to this link:  Steps to Obtaining NRP Provider Training (NRP Card) for more information about the necessary steps to completing Part 1 of the training with the AAP (online) ~ as well as Step 2 (workshop) ~ in order to obtain your NRP card.  PART 1 SHOULD BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO ATTENDING THE WORKSHOP.  AAP charges $35 for their course content and that is in addition to fees for the Baby's Breath Workshop.

***CE/Contact Hours - 3 CA Board of RN Contact Hours (CAT 1 for NARM or CA Medical Board LM License Renewal) are provided for full workshop attendance 

For more information about the 7th edition NRP Provider Course:  7th Edition AAP NRP.  This workshop will review the 8th edition updates but satisfy the 7th edition requirements.  8th Edition training will not be available from AAP until January 2022.
